Jul '00 Obtained as a small colony from Upscales around Jun '00.  Very little growth at this point.

400W 10K MH lighting
400 - 450 Calcium
3.5 - 4.5meq/l Alkalinity
78 - 83 Temp

 

Jan '01 Colony browned out and then regained its coloration, but it is considerably different from original color.

There is no significant growth although the colony continues to look healthy with decent polyp extension.

Apr '01 The colony is once again mostly browned out.  It does have some new growth that is maintaining some purple to its tips.  Growth continues to be very minimal.
Jun '01 Coral has been moved to new tank

Lighting:  400W 10K MH  w/ actinics
Calcium:  450 - 500 
Alkalinity: 3.5 - 4.5meq/l 
Temp:  78 - 80 
pH:  8.0 - 8.25

Jul '01 Coral is actually starting to show some signs of growth in the tips of the branches.
Sep '01 This coral continues to speed up its growth although it is still very slow.  Coloration continues to improve to a very attractive light color with unusually colored tips.  Coral is about 3 1/2" across which is probably 1/2" larger than when the coral was obtained.
Jan '02 The coral has entered a growth spurt lately and is about 4 1/2" across at this point.   
Jun '02 This shows the coral in its position within the tank.  It is about 5" across at this point. .
Mar '03 Growth continues at a slow but steady pace.  The coral is now about 6" across
