| Mar '01 | Growth is very rapid. The coral has doubled in mass since last entry. It has been moved to rear of tank and receives a little less illumination which is probably responsible for some color loss in tips of branches. | ![]() |
| Apr '01 | Growth continues at a fairly rapid pace. It continues to grow into a longer, thinner form. It has added about 1/2" in the last month and a half. | ![]() |

| Jul '01 | Main change over last 4 weeks is that the branches have started to thicken considerably. The coral is now in a very high water flow area. | ![]() |
| Sep '01 | Growth has exploded and has added about 2" since last entry. Height is about 7" at this point. Branches have continued to thicken. | ![]() |
| May '02 | This coral has gotten to be very big over the last 8 months. It has remained extremely fast growing, and is reaching the surface of the water at this point. It is well over a foot high at this point | ![]() |
| Jan '03 | Here is the end of the line for this growth sequence. A broken outer envelope on a MH light above the coral has caused it to bleach and die. The white of the skeleton is showing as the tissue sloughs off. | ![]() |
| Feb '03 | Well, maybe not quite the end of the line for this coral. I fragged one of the lower branches as the coral was dieing and I was able to save a portion of it. Here it is remounted to the base of the parent colony. Back down to about 5" high at this point. | ![]() |
